Magnolia Fire Department (ESD #10) has an ISO Class 2/10 Rating.
The Insurance Services Office (ISO) Incorporated, and the Texas Department of Insurance, State Fire Marshal’s Office have listed the Magnolia Fire Department (“MFD”) and Montgomery County Emergency Services No. 10 (“MCESD No. 10”) as a Class Two/Ten (2/10) Fire Department. This ISO Public Protection Classification (PPC) of two (2) is applied to all properties within five (5) road miles of a fire station. The Ten (10) is for properties greater than five (5) road miles from a fire station. This ISO rating is good, regardless of proximity to fire hydrants. The MVFD has nine 3,000-gallon tanker trucks and nine 1000-gallon pumper trucks, as well as the ability to draft water from ponds, lakes and swimming pools.
The rating of 2/10 will go into effect on December 1, 2021.
